Kids Express Learning Center
Enrichment Curriculum Expands at KELC

Upon returning from Winter Break, you may notice a new addition to the Kids Express Learning Center campus! The arrival of a refurbished school bus will provide a distinctive environment for Kids Express Learning Center’s new Environmental Education Program that incorporates nature study, gardening, creative art and foreign language.

The bus, named “Farmer Will’s Nature Nook,” will be nestled into the wooded area adjacent to the playground, and will provide truly natural views for children to observe, learn and become inspired.

Beginning January 10, each classroom will visit Farmer Will’s Nature Nook twice weekly for a one-hour session. The only one of its kind, this hands-on learning environment will house approximately twenty children and two teachers during each session.

Farmer Will’s Nature Nook will be open for parents and children to view Wednesday, January 5 through Friday, January 7 during the following times:

7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
3:30 p.m. – 5: 30 p.m.

Families may enter the Nature Nook during these designated times for a guided tour with a member of the Kids Express Learning Center staff.
