Adorable Chicks Growing Up at KELC
Take a moment to visit the animal pastures at KELC
frequently this summer. The baby chicks change daily as
their feathers grow and their bodies get larger and larger.
The chicks are located in the enclosure behind the tiny log
cabin 'feed house' near Nature Nook Cottage. If it is a
very hot day, you may have to seach for them from many
angles because they often hide in the 'hen house'. Enjoy
these gorgeous babies while you can! They'll grow up soon
and begin their work of helping KELC's children control bugs
and grubs in Prairie View Farm's Children's Garden.
