Summer on the Farm 2008
Having the sun shine on Summer on the Farm this morning was
a special gift! The children's pond looked beautiful with
the lilies smiling up at us while fish thrilled on-lookers
with their gorgeous colors, quick movements and wise choice
to hide under the plants (to practice hiding from predators,
perhaps?).
A walk through campus reveals children from a few months old to third grade enjoying so many valuable experiences. Creative Connections Art Cottage is brimming with brightly colored supplies, children's work and hums of content children showing their right-brain abilities. Nature and gardening classes charm the young nature seekers with lessons related to botany and animal science. And, how can anyone dismiss the fun of using up of all sorts of physical energy by working in the Sports classes. Indoors, KELC's classrooms are filled with projects that speak of summer fun and call out to children of all ages to 'come...try me'!
