Gets Ready for the 100th Day of Kindergarten is a
popular
choice for group reading time in schools across the country.
Counting out the sets of 100 items brought from home finds
its way to the many early childhood math centers.
However, one counting/art project displayed in KELC's Paddington Station classroom 'takes the cake', so to speak. Emily Grace, age 5, decided to use 100 spiral noodles to create an image of herself on days when her hairdo is less than perfect. Her poster, one of many displayed here at KELC, is bound to bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart! Stay tuned, world, because you are likely to hear more from this child in the future! |
